The conference included a symposium on the French philosopher Gilles Deleuze, and attracted a strong contin­gent of speakers interested in his theories on time.

A number of the conference papers were subsequently published in issue 8.2 of the Melbourne University journal Antithesis (edited by Karen Barker, Graham Jones, Tania Lewis and Catherine Dale).
